The EU-CIP project is a natural evolution of the ECSCI knowledge network on resilient infrastructures. The partners have or had leading roles in some of the most prominent EU funded research and innovation projects on resilient infrastructures, critical infrastructure protection and other related topics. This provides a readily available critical mass of research projects, outcomes, and organizations for bootstrapping the EU-CIP ecosystem. Beyond their participation and collaboration in the scope of the ECSCI cluster, the individual partners possess complementary roles that match the project’s objectives.
