The Security Research Event (SRE) 2023 will be organised in Brussels on 24-25 October 2023. Registrations are now open here. The event is organised by the European Commission with the support of the Spanish Presidency of the Council and that of Sweden.

The Security Research Event (SRE) is an annual meeting of industry, policy makers and research institutions on the state of play and current challenges for security research in Europe. This year’s event will focus on “Societal transformations, climate change and digitalisation – a new paradigm of Security Research?” and will include a Conference and exhibition. Participants can discuss challenges stemming from global megatrends, which are shifting the ground for security in the EU.
